Learn how to swim

The start

We teach you an understandable and strong base on which we build up your swimming step by step.
The most powerful aids are the assistance of your coach (in the water with you) and the videos (your coach films you above and below the surface).

The main focus is on a good breath management, the core stability and the alignment of your body. The legs are connected to the torso and build a stable frame with your upper body and your pelvis.

Based on this fundamental structure the next steps depend on the stroke you want to learn (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly).

Generally a student needs between 5 to 10 lessons to learn the basics of front crawl (including breathing). In addition you have to practice independently at least 2 or 3 times between the lessons. The more – and the more focussed – you practice, the faster you learn.

We offer single lessons (30, 45 and 60 minutes) as well as packages of 5 or 10 lessons.

Junior or senior:
The learning of the fundamental structure is not dependent on your age: our youngest students are 4 years old, the eldest 75; but you have to be able to enter and exit the pool on your own.

Fear in water:

In our very own pool (32° C), 1 meter deep with benches at the side your coach is in the water with you all the time. Relaxed, in your tempo and without audience your coach guides you through the first steps of the breath management and the fundamental structure.
